Newly converted traditional stone barn 3km from the village of Sarrazac with private pool. The interior has been carefully restored incorporating stone walls, tiled floors and the original beams. Just 7km from the village of Turenne, one of the 'Plus beau villages de France' it offers an ideal base to explore this beautilful region.
Accommodation details
The house is two floors, and accommodates eight people .
Ground Floor
Converted in an open-plan style with large French doors leading from the front of the house to the terrace and pool. There is a large living area with sofa, armchairs and TV/video, as well as dining area with table seating up to 10 people. The fitted kitchen area is at the back of the dining area and is fully fitted with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. The washing machine and dryer are in a separate utility area. The back door from the kitchen leads onto a terrace for al fresco eating. There is also a toilet on the ground floor.
 
First floor
Comprises of 4 well appointed bedrooms- two double and two twins. There is a bathroom with corner bath and washbasin, separate shower room with washbasin, and a separate toilet. All the bedrooms have large velux windows and high ceilings to maximize the space of the barn and give airy comfortable rooms
Other facilites
The 8 x 4 metre pool is in front of the house and surrounded by terracing. To the side of the house there is a smaller terrace leading from the kitchen with table and barbecue. Wonderful open views from the house across fields to the village of L’Hopital St Jean which is 4km away. Ample parking to the side and rear of the house.
The house is situated on a quiet road equidistant between the villages of Turenne and Quatre Routes, where you will find local shops, bars and restaurants.
The nearest village of Sarrazac is 3km away and has a lovely family run resataurant “La Bonne Famille”- and L’Hopital St Jean is just over 3km away and has an epicerie/boulangerie and bar/tabac.
 The market town of Souillac is just 15 minutes drive away, nestled on the banks of the Dordogne river, and here you will find weekly markets, all the shops and commerces you need as well as a large supermarket. The old town is a lovely place to stroll around, and there are plenty of good restaurants to choose from. You can also go canoeing from here, and there is a large water park too.

Prices are per week, inclusive of linen, water, electricity and gas, but not towels, which can be hired. We reserve the right to levy a surcharge if you require central heating or firewood.
Babysitting, cook and maid service are available on request.
Please note, we are happy to accept deposits by credit card, but the balance of payment is subject to a surcharge of 1.5% if you use this method of payment.
